Vebe consistometer

This test method is used to measure the consistency of stiff to extremely dry concrete. Consistency is measured as the time required for a given mass of concrete to be consolidated by vibrating in a cylindrically shaped mould.

Consistometer conforms to EN 12350-3 for determining the consistency of fresh concrete by means of the Vebe time. The unit consists of a vibrating table, cylindrical bucket, slump cone, thick transparent disc complete with filling funnel and tamping rod.
