Soil gouges

Soil gouges for soil mapping, profile reviews, root, fertilisation, clay and archeological research with minimal level of disturbance  in soil.

 

These hand drills are used for taking largely undisturbed soil samples from up to 90 cm depth and are driven into the earth with a mallet. They are used for taking largely undisturbed soil samples. Due to the length of the samples taken, they are often used for soil mapping and nutrient content studies of soils.
